The Year of the Lord's Favor

I see it already.  In Eliya's tenacious attempts to pull up on the couch... Isaiah beating me in the mile for the first time. A fire in the fireplace that won't die. A husband that seeks the Lord and seeks the Lord and seeks the Lord. My cup is quite literally overflowing. As we begin this new year the Lord gave me Isaiah 61 "The Year of the Lord's Favor."  It is so perfectly in line with what He has been sharing with me in His word recently.  The opening of the prison from Psalm 142...the robes of righteousness from Revelation 3...I am in full expectation of this year being the Year of Lord's favor... the year that He gives me a double portion for my shame, a double portion of Himself that I would be an oak of righteousness that He would be glorified. Lord, let me not miss seeing one of the blessings you give us this year.  May this family truly become oaks of righteousness that you would be glorified!
