Eliya is now doing literally hundreds of things she could not do a few weeks ago. She can roll from her tummy to her back. She talks to us all the time and laughs often (mostly at Isaiah and his antics). She can grab any toy put in front of her and grab both feet. She can push up on both arms when she is on her tummy and she loves playing in the exersaucer. She eats bananas and green beans and doesn't mind either. It happens so fast.
But rolling over...she tries and tries to roll from her back to her tummy and always gets stuck on one arm. I know she will get it, because she will most certainly keep trying. It makes me think of the things I struggle with now. I can't set it aside because I have tried 100 times. I have got to keep practicing. I lay it at His feet, and keep trying. And one day...just as sure as Eliya will roll over, I will overcome these things. It's my destiny. I am destined, by God's grace to overcome. And maybe I'll look back with greater perspective and think "Wow...it happens so fast."
